This weekend’s race at Kansas isn’t unfamiliar territory for Herbst. He has raced there four times before, with his best result being ninth. Only once did he fall outside the top 16. Alongside these, he’s made four starts in the ARCA Menards Series and two in Trucks on the same track.
“Kansas ranks as one of my favorite intermediate tracks. I’ve had commendable runs there in both Trucks and ARCA,” Herbst said. He further elaborated on his consistency in performance, stating, “Our Fords have shown remarkable speed every week. It’s crucial now to keep any misfortunes at bay and avoid blunders. My aim? Parking in the Victory Lane and Kansas feels like the right place for it.”
While a win in Kansas would be a direct ticket to the playoffs, the chances are that points will play a pivotal role in determining the final contender.
