Hendrick Motorsports Young Fan: A Mini Chase Elliott in the Making!

Hendrick Motorsports Young Fan: In a heartwarming incident, Chase Elliott recently took a moment to acknowledge a young fan’s Halloween costume that paid homage to the NASCAR star. Despite a challenging season that saw Elliott missing out on the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs for the first time in his illustrious career, the Hendrick Motorsports driver remains undeterred in his spirit, especially when it comes to connecting with his dedicated fanbase.

Elliott posted a delightful story on Instagram about a young fan who diligently made a Halloween costume of the 27-year-old driver. A cardboard automobile and a miniature reproduction of Elliott’s Hendrick Motorsports driving kit gave the costume an authentic look.

Responding to this heartwarming tribute, Chase Elliott expressed his appreciation with a simple yet heartfelt message: “Great costume.

While the Halloween celebration provided a lighthearted moment for Elliott and his fans, the racer’s on-track journey this season has been marked by challenges. The No. 9 team, led by Elliott, faced the disheartening reality of elimination from the NASCAR Cup Series Owners’ Championship contention following the playoff race in Martinsville last week.

For Elliott, who had hoped for a late-season resurgence, the Owners’ Championship represented a glimmer of hope to salvage a challenging year. However, fate had a different plan. The No. 9 team secured the 16th and final spot in the owner playoffs, leaving them outside the championship race.

This position pitted Chase Elliott and his team in direct competition with the No. 23 team of 23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace. The latter secured the 16th and final spot in the driver playoffs, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown.

In an injury-plagued year, Elliott’s seven-year postseason streak ended. Despite the losses, the Hendrick Motorsports driver is determined to finish the season well in Phoenix.
