This deal ensures the persistent presence of Mahindra’s logos on Chase Briscoe’s #14 car for the foreseeable future.
Mahindra initially entered the NASCAR arena alongside SHR during the 2022 season at the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum. Their victory at Phoenix Raceway just a couple of races later marked their maiden triumph as a Cup Series sponsor. Renowned for manufacturing agricultural tractors and road cars, the automotive giant made a substantial impression on the NASCAR circuit.
Shortly after the official announcement, Stewart took to social media, sharing a video of himself maneuvering a Mahindra tractor. His caption, “Proud to have @Mahindra_USA back with @StewartHaasRcng. It’s a partnership that runs deep. We’re honored to represent #MahindraTractors and are grateful for the friendships we’ve made since first coming together two years ago.”
Mahindra, beyond selling tractors, boasts an impressive racing legacy. Its parent company, Mahindra & Mahindra, isn’t merely focused on selling their agricultural equipment through sponsorships. They’ve gained respect in motorsports for fielding their racing teams. Notably, they’ve been an integral part of the Formula E series since its inaugural season in 2014.
Moreover, Mahindra had a presence in MotoGP as both a team and manufacturer in the Moto3 classes. However, they withdrew from the series after the 2017 season’s conclusion.
With their Cup Series sponsorship venture, Mahindra’s immersion in the racing world isn’t novel. In fact, it’s a seamless match, representing an ideal collaboration between the company and Stewart-Haas Racing.
