Harvick elaborated, “The late model teams in my mind were an asset for KHI Management.” Explaining his vision, he continued, “So the theory is, okay were going to have the late model teams, the supers and late model stocks so that our clients can get in the cars, and well use the cars for our clients or special events, like [Dale Jr.] did with Larson.”
The prospect of steering something in 2024 ignited Harvick’s enthusiasm. He hinted at participation in grassroots events or other entertaining endeavors. When Dale Earnhardt Jr. proposed the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series or NASCAR Xfinity Series, Harvick entertained the idea but balked at the pressure-packed manner in which Earnhardt operates his Xfinity Series team.
“Im not going to do it that way. No way. Youre a brave man,” Harvick chuckled, appreciating Earnhardts bold approach while affirming his personal stance.
