Kaz Grala Departure: Reflecting on Impactful Stint in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series

Kaz Grala Departure: In a recent social media announcement on Monday, Sam Hunt Racing confirmed that Kaz Grala will not return for a second season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024.

Acknowledging Grala’s impactful tenure behind the wheel of the No. 26 GR Supra, the team expressed gratitude, stating, “A record-breaking year for Kaz Grala. We wish you the very best on your next venture.”

Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Grala contributed significantly to the two-car organization, notably securing top-five finishes at Richmond Raceway and Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL, alongside nine top-10 results.

His impressive fourth-place finish at Richmond Raceway in April marked a career-best achievement, representing his inaugural top-five in Xfinity Series competition, excluding superspeedways or road courses.

Throughout his racing career, the 24-year-old driver has traversed NASCAR’s National Series, competing for various teams like Richard Childress Racing, Kaulig Racing, GMS Racing, and TMT Racing, showcasing his versatility across the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series.
