Team Penske NASCAR Deal: Hunt Brothers Pizza Joins Logano

Team Penske NASCAR Deal: Team Penske revealed on Saturday (December 9) a significant partnership with Hunt Brothers Pizza for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series. This multi-year deal designates Hunt Brothers Pizza as a primary sponsor for select races on Joey Logano’s #22 Ford Mustang.

Known for their tenure as Kevin Harvick’s primary sponsor at Stewart-Haas Racing and a notable stint as a longstanding sponsor, Hunt Brothers Pizza steps into a new realm alongside Logano and also becomes an associate partner for reigning Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney. Specific details about the race schedule will follow at a later date.

Expressing enthusiasm, Team Penske President Tim Cindric welcomed Hunt Brothers Pizza aboard and conveyed his anticipation for the collaboration in the upcoming season:

“Hunt Brothers Pizza’s enduring dedication to NASCAR success aligns with our team’s goals. Their entry into our fold presents an exciting opportunity as we strive together to carry forward a legacy of racing excellence.”

Joey Logano, steering the #22 Team Penske Ford, encountered a challenging season defending his title. He wrapped up the year in 12th place in the standings, securing one win, 11 top-5 finishes, and 17 top-10 finishes.

Notably, Logano’s sole victory came at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where he commanded 308 laps and boasted an average finish of 14.9.

In a team statement regarding the collaboration with the renowned American Pizza chain, Logano shared his excitement:

Their commitment to both on-track performance and market excellence, coupled with their extensive motorsports support, aligns seamlessly with Team Penske’s ethos. Racing the No. 22 Hunt Brothers Pizza Ford Mustang in 2024 is something I eagerly anticipate, and we aim to see those iconic red and green colors in Victory Lane next season.”

Joey Logano, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, boasts an impressive track record, amassing 536 starts since 2008. His career tally showcases 32 victories, 274 top-10 finishes, and 28 poles in the series.
