Kevin Harvick NASCAR Retirement: A Busy Offseason and Racing Family Bonds”

Kevin Harvick NASCAR Retirement: The conclusion of this season’s Cup Series at Phoenix Raceway marked the final lap of Kevin Harvick’s storied NASCAR career. Yet, in a recent chat with EPARTRADE, Harvick revealed that despite retirement, this offseason feels much like any other.

In his interview, Harvick admitted to bypassing the typical retired driver activities. Instead, he’s fully entrenched in his business endeavors, feeling as engrossed as any active NASCAR driver would.

“It doesn’t quite feel like it’s winding down; it feels like the usual offseason,” remarked the Cup champion. “We’ve had ongoing projects for the past year and a half, anticipating my exit from the driver’s seat. Shifting gears to the FOX television booth and restructuring our business has kept us fully occupied.”

Transitioning to the FOX Sports booth in 2024 as NASCAR unveils its schedule, Harvick acknowledged contemplating the precise moment retirement would hit home.

For me, the realization will likely kick in at the Daytona 500,” he shared. “Watching the cars speed around the track from the stands, not executing plans in the garage to compete and position myself for victory. Right now, it feels like business as usual.”

Beyond managing Kevin Harvick Inc. and his FOX Sports commitments, Harvick has carved out time to mentor his children, Keelan and Piper, as they embark on their early racing ventures.

Amidst his demanding Cup Series schedule, Harvick couldn’t accompany his kids to races, leaving that role to his wife. However, with newfound freedom, he can now stand by his children and join them in their racing pursuits.

Keelan Harvick showcased his prowess in the Trackhouse Motorplex, racing in KA100 Junior and IAME Junior with his #62 machine, securing wins and runner-up spots in every race. Harvick took to social media, celebrating his son’s accomplishments, eagerly anticipating Piper’s racing debut the following day.

Little Piper, receiving heartfelt support from her father and the NASCAR community on social media, set her sights on her GoKart race day, a moment celebrated by all.
