Iowa Speedway Sold-Out Debut: NASCAR’s Exciting Ethanol-Powered Journey

Iowa Speedway Sold-Out Debut: NASCAR’s debut Cup Series event at Iowa Speedway has hit the mark with a sold-out status for grandstand tickets and camping, marking a promising start for the anticipated race.

Scheduled for the evening of June 16, 2024, the race will proudly bear the Iowa Corn 350, Powered by Ethanol, with Iowa Corn taking the mantle as the event’s entitlement sponsor.

Stan Nelson, Iowa Corn Promotion Board President and a farmer hailing from Middletown, expressed his enthusiasm for the race and the positive implications of opting for higher ethanol blends. “Choosing higher blends of ethanol has wide-reaching benefits,” stated Nelson. “It’s a choice that contributes to sustainability without necessitating a full vehicle replacement. This decision not only aids the environment but also bolsters our economy, given ethanol’s status as the most cost-effective renewable fuel available today.”

Set to conclude a tripleheader NASCAR weekend, the Cup Series race will be preceded by the NASCAR Xfinity Series on June 15 and the ARCA Menards Series kicking off the action on June 14.
