NASCAR Season Schedule 2024: A Thrilling Ride Through Key Highlights

NASCAR Season Schedule 2024: The 2023 NASCAR season has drawn to a close, with Ben Rhodes, Cole Custer, and Ryan Blaney securing championships. As attention shifts to the 2024 season, fans eagerly await the action-packed schedule for the national NASCAR series.

The Cup season kicks off with the Busch Light Clash exhibition race at the iconic LA Memorial Coliseum on Sunday, Feb. 4. After a one-week break, all three national series will converge at Daytona from Feb. 16-18.

A notable pause in the action will occur for the 2024 Olympics, scheduled from July 26 to Aug. 11, with the final four races of the Cup regular season taking place post the Olympic break.

The highly anticipated Cup season finale is slated for Sunday, Nov. 10.

Let’s delve into the key highlights of the 2024 NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck schedules:

Cup Series: Several changes mark the 2024 Cup schedule, notably the addition of Iowa. This .875-mile track will host its inaugural Cup event on June 16, marking the commencement of broadcast schedule.

The oval configuration of Indianapolis makes a comeback after three seasons on the road course. This race will be the final showdown before the Olympic break.

The playoffs witness Darlington making way for Atlanta, which kicks off the Round of 16. Watkins Glen moves into the first round of the playoffs.

Xfinity Series: The Xfinity season introduces two significant changes. Bristol becomes the regular-season finale for the first time since 2021, and Kansas takes over as the opening race of the playoffs.

Talladega hosts a second race, replacing Texas in the opening round of the playoffs. The second round maintains consistency with Las Vegas, Homestead, and Martinsville hosting races to determine the Championship 4.

Truck Series: The Truck season roars to life at Daytona on Friday, Feb. 16, followed by Atlanta the following week.

The first round of the playoffs witnesses a change as IRP moves into the regular season after two seasons in the playoffs. Milwaukee hosts the first playoff race, with Bristol and Kansas completing the first round.
