Christopher Bell Debuts in Kyle Larson’s High Limit Racing Series at Texas Sprint Showdown

Christopher Bell is set to make an exciting debut in the Kubota High Limit Racing series, owned by his peer Kyle Larson and six-time national sprint car champion Brad Sweet. Taking place at the Dirt Track at Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday, May 1, Bell will drive the #69k sprint car in the highly anticipated Stockyard Stampede event. This marks his first participation in the series, just ahead of the NASCAR Cup Series race at the Texas Motor Speedway.

While Bell is no stranger to dirt-track competitions—having participated in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, the Chili Bowl Nationals, and USAC—competing in the High Limit series adds a new feather to his cap. Expressing his enthusiasm, Bell shared insights about his passion for Sprint racing and how much he looks forward to this unique opportunity.

Following Thursday’s event, Bell will continue his journey in Texas by racing at the Rocket Raceway Park in the POWRi Elite Outlaw 410 Sprint Car Series on Friday, May 2. Once the dirt races conclude, he will switch gears on Sunday, May 4, to compete in his #20 Toyota Camry XSE for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Würth 400 Cup Series. Although a Cup victory at the Texas Motor Speedway has eluded him, his track record includes notable wins in the Xfinity Series in 2019 and the Truck Series in 2017.

Bell noted the challenges posed by the Texas track, yet expressed confidence in his ability to overcome them thanks to the skills honed from his extensive dirt racing background. Demonstrating his talent across multiple racing disciplines, Christopher Bell embodies the integration of precision and speed, drawing attention to this growing motorsport niche.

With support from Interstate Batteries, headquartered in Dallas, both Bell’s #69k sprint car and his #20 Cup Series vehicle will be backed for the exciting events ahead. As the week unfolds, fans eagerly await to see how Bell’s dirt racing expertise influences his performance, adding to the dynamic energy of the season.
