Taking place at the Dirt Track at Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday, May 1, Bell will drive the #69k sprint car in the highly anticipated Stockyard Stampede event. This marks his first participation in the series, just ahead of the NASCAR Cup Series race at the Texas Motor Speedway.
While Bell is no stranger to dirt-track competitions—having participated in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, the Chili Bowl Nationals, and USAC—competing in the High Limit series adds a new feather to his cap. Following Thursday’s event, Bell will continue his journey in Texas by racing at the Rocket Raceway Park in the POWRi Elite Outlaw 410 Sprint Car Series on Friday, May 2. Once the dirt races conclude, he will switch gears on Sunday, May 4, to compete in his #20 Toyota Camry XSE for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Würth 400 Cup Series. Although a Cup victory at the Texas Motor Speedway has eluded him, his track record includes notable wins in the Xfinity Series in 2019 and the Truck Series in 2017.
