NASCAR Cup Driver Standings Shift After Mexico City

William Byron continues to lead the NASCAR Cup Series standings following the Viva Mexico 250, with 604 points and 172 stage points. Kyle Larson fell to second after an early crash, now 67 points back. Christopher Bell surged to third after a runner-up finish, while Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin round out the top five. Shane van Gisbergen’s historic win moved him up to 30th with 242 points. The playoff race remains tight with McDowell, Allmendinger, and Berry all hovering near the cut line. Ten races remain in the regular season before the field of 16 playoff drivers is finalized.
