Spire Motorsports, Spectrum Announce Major 2026 Partnership

Spire Motorsports has revealed that Spectrum will be partnering with Carson Hocevar’s No. 77 entry for 13 races during the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series, beginning with the Daytona 500 in February in Mooresville, North Carolina. The Spire Motorsports Spectrum partnership marks a significant commitment as the Charlotte-based internet provider strengthens its presence in the world of motorsports through this multi-year agreement, closely following Hocevar’s recent contract renewal with the team.

Renewing Connections from Hocevar’s Early Racing Days

The collaboration between Spectrum and Hocevar is not entirely new, as it rekindles an earlier association from Hocevar’s formative racing years in Michigan. Raised in a family involved with motorsports, Hocevar previously displayed Spectrum’s branding on his early quarter midget cars and late models thanks to a partnership first arranged by his dad. The company’s logos on his youth race vehicles helped to promote local commercials for his father’s coin and jewelry store, setting the foundation for a lasting relationship.

“It’s really cool to have Spectrum on our No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro,”

said Hocevar.

“It’s truly a full circle deal. Spectrum was on my quarter midget cars and late models growing up. My dad made a deal to put their logos on my race cars in exchange for local commercials for his coin and jewelry store. It’s surreal to reflect on that time and think now I’m racing on Sundays, going into my third season in the Cup Series with Spectrum as a key partner. I’m eager to get to work and wear the Spectrum blue at Daytona.”

Looking Forward to the Impact of the Partnership

The fresh partnership between Spire Motorsports and Spectrum is expected to bring new visibility to both the team and its driver, especially at major venues like Watkins Glen, Charlotte, and Daytona. As Hocevar enters his third full season as a Cup Series driver and as the reigning 2024 rookie of the year, industry analysts will be watching how this enhanced support helps Spire Motorsports perform on the racetrack, while also deepening Spectrum’s brand association with motorsport fans nationwide.
