Go Bowling at The Glen
The Go Bowling at The Glen is a NASCAR Cup Series race held at Watkins Glen International in New York. The race is 90 laps covering approximately 221 miles on a 2.45-mile road course. It started in its modern form in 1986, using a shortened track layout with the addition of the “Inner Loop” chicane in 1992 for safety after fatal crashes. The event is known for road course racing challenges and has become a staple mid-season race. The race was not held at Watkins Glen in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but has otherwise been a consistent part of the NASCAR schedule.
