Deegan’s debut in the Indy NXT series was at the high-octane St. Petersburg Grand Prix on March 2. Despite qualifying 21st for her inaugural race, she astonishingly managed to take 14th place— a testament to her resilience and strategic driving after a difficult incident in the first race. A lack of sponsorship may have stalled her stock racing career, but she proved her mettle during the Xfinity series with AM racing, clinching the 32nd place. Her prowess was notably demonstrated at the Ag-Pro 300, where she secured a notable 12th place finish.
However, her driving style, famously aggressive, was tempered during the St. Petersburg Grand Prix.
