Spire Motorsports, Garner Trucking Reunite for NASCAR Cup Series Sponsorship at Nashville, Michigan Races

Spire Motorsports and Garner Trucking NASCAR Cup Series sponsorship will be renewed as Garner Trucking returns for a two-race primary sponsorship of the No. 7 Chevrolet, driven by Justin Haley, in the NASCAR Cup Series. Garner Trucking, recognized as the Official Transportation Partner of Spire Motorsports in 2023, is slated to be the primary sponsor at Nashville Superspeedway on June 1 and at Michigan International Speedway on June 8.

Honoring a Legacy and Celebrating Industry Leadership

Sherri Garner Brumbaugh, President, CEO, and Owner of Garner Trucking, Inc., reflected on the partnership’s role in the company’s rich history.

“The Garner/Spire collaboration has been a highlight of our 65 years in business,”

she stated. She emphasized the personal connection to the sport through her father, Vern Garner, the company’s founder and an avid NASCAR fan.

“Vern Garner, our founder, was a huge NASCAR fan. My dad would have enjoyed the thrill of sending our truck drivers as VIP’s to the races and seeing Garner on a premier NASCAR Cup Series car! It is in that spirit that the entire Garner team enjoys being part of Spire Motorsports. Truckers and NASCAR, we go together.”

Founded in 1960 by Vern and Jean Garner, the Ohio-based, family-owned company is recognized for its excellent safety standards and timely deliveries. Now under the leadership of Sherri Garner Brumbaugh, the business has become highly respected in the industry, earning accolades from organizations such as the Truckload Carriers Association, Women in Trucking, and the Next Generation in Trucking Association. Garner Trucking looks ahead to its 65th anniversary in 2025 as it continues to provide Spire Motorsports with the essential semi-tractors used to haul race equipment for NASCAR National Series events.

A Track Record of Partnership and Performance

Garner Trucking’s partnership with Spire Motorsports began in May 2022 at Kansas Speedway and, since then, the company has served as the primary sponsor of the No. 7 Chevrolet five times within the NASCAR Cup Series. The collaboration’s best result came with a 15th-place finish at Michigan in 2023. This season’s pairing is especially notable as it marks the first instance with Justin Haley behind the wheel at Nashville, after previous sponsorships involved former Spire driver Corey LaJoie between 2022 and 2024.

Justin Haley and Spire Motorsports Look Forward to the Upcoming Races

Justin Haley expressed the team‘s appreciation as Garner Trucking returns as their primary partner for these pivotal races.

“Everyone at Spire Motorsports appreciates the support from Sherri and the entire team at Garner Trucking,”

said Haley. He further described the pride the team feels traveling with the company’s trucks, especially during high-profile NASCAR race weekends.

“Our trucks stand tall going up and down the road, and when they pull into the race track for the weekend. We’re looking forward to representing Garner for the next two weekends. I feel like our cars keep getting better, and Nashville and Michigan should be good tracks for us, so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how we stack up.”

As Haley continues his first full-time season back with Spire Motorsports, he currently sits 29th in the standings, picking up a top-10 finish at Homestead-Miami Speedway in March. The upcoming races offer new opportunities for both driver and sponsor as they seek improved results on two major circuits.

Upcoming Events Set for Nashville and Michigan

The highly anticipated Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway is scheduled for Sunday, June 1, at 7:00 PM ET and will be available on Prime Video along with radio broadcasts on the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90. The event at Michigan International Speedway follows on June 8, continuing the momentum of this renewed partnership between Spire Motorsports and Garner Trucking. As the season moves forward, the joining of a veteran transportation company and an ambitious NASCAR team is set to make an impact on and off the racetrack.
