Corey Heim Sets 2026 NASCAR Return With Daytona 500 Attempt

Corey Heim, the reigning Craftsman Truck Series champion, has revealed his first moves for the Corey Heim 2026 NASCAR season. After stepping back from his full-time role at Tricon Garage, Heim will attempt to qualify for the Daytona 500 in February with 23XI Racing.

Heim Teams Up with 23XI Racing and Robinhood

According to an official statement from 23XI Racing, Heim will be piloting the No. 67 Toyota Camry XSE in his Daytona 500 qualifying attempt. Robinhood, a prominent California-based financial services company, will increase its involvement in NASCAR by taking on the role of Heim’s primary sponsor for this event. The company is also set to expand its partnership by sponsoring Heim during the Feb. 21 Craftsman Truck Series race at EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta), a notable venue in Heim’s career where he achieved his inaugural Truck Series victory with Tricon Garage.

Robinhood previously partnered with Heim for three Cup Series events, where he posted notable finishes including a sixth place at Bristol Motor Speedway. The collaboration signals a strengthening relationship between Heim, 23XI Racing, and their financial backer.

We’re proud to have Robinhood growing with our team and excited to see the Robin Neon paint scheme competing for a starting spot at the Daytona 500,” said Steve Lauletta, 23XI team president.

Robinhood continues to be one of the most innovative brands in the financial services category, and we look forward to another year of engaging with their customers in fresh, cutting-edge ways that only Robinhood and 23XI can do.

Alongside Heim, Robinhood will also be showcased on Bubba Wallace’s No. 23 Toyota Camry XSE at select events, including the Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, as well as races at Circuit of the Americas and Phoenix Raceway during the spring segment of the season. More events featuring the Robin Neon paint scheme are planned as the year unfolds.

Road to the Daytona 500: Competition and Challenges Ahead

Qualifying for the Daytona 500 is highly competitive, and Heim faces a difficult task as he seeks his first start in the prestigious race. He must outperform several other drivers in non-chartered, or Open, entries through time trials and Duel races. The group of drivers vying for limited Daytona 500 spots includes Justin Allgaier (JR Motorsports), Anthony Alfredo (Beard Motorsports), Chandler Smith (Front Row Motorsports), Corey LaJoie (RFK Racing), Casey Mears (Garage 66), and BJ McLeod (Live Fast Motorsports).

Meanwhile, seven-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson and Legacy Motor Club are guaranteed a Daytona 500 start through the Open Exemption Provisional, which secures his spot but renders him ineligible for prize money or points during the race.

Broader Sponsorship and Team Strategies

Robinhood is leveraging its NASCAR presence by supporting multiple drivers, reinforcing its image as an innovative player in financial services. The collaboration with both Corey Heim and Bubba Wallace throughout the 2026 NASCAR season positions the company for increased fan engagement and visibility. For 23XI Racing, these partnerships reflect an ongoing commitment to building dynamic team and sponsor relationships as they chase competitive success in both the Cup and Truck Series ranks.

Looking Forward to the 2026 NASCAR Campaign

As the Daytona 500 approaches, all eyes will be on Corey Heim’s qualifying attempt and the growing alliance between 23XI Racing and Robinhood. This marks a new chapter for Heim, whose return highlights his championship credentials and drive to compete at NASCAR’s highest level. Fans can anticipate more updates on Heim’s progress and further announcements regarding Robinhood-backed races as the season progresses.
