Kyle Busch will participate in eight races in the NASCAR Truck Series 2026 season, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado for Spire Motorsports, with HendrickCars.com sponsoring most events. The arrangement was confirmed Monday, adding fresh excitement to the series as Busch targets new victories and historic tracks throughout the year.
Busch Announces Expanded Schedule Following Rule Change
After NASCAR revised its regulations, Kyle Busch is set to compete in the maximum number of NASCAR Truck Series races allowed this season. Spire Motorsports outlined the full schedule: Busch will open at Atlanta (February 21), then race at Bristol (April 10), Texas (May 1), Dover (May 15), Charlotte (May 22), Nashville (May 29), North Wilkesboro (July 18), with the finale at Richmond (August 14).
“I’m excited that after NASCAR amended the ‘Kyle Busch rule’ that I was able to work it out with Jeff (Dickerson, owner), Brian (Pattie, crew chief), and everyone at Spire Motorsports to increase my race count up to the eight that are allowed this year,”
said Busch. He emphasized his enthusiasm for returning to well-known tracks and also pointed to the opportunity to secure wins at circuits where he has yet to triumph in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.
“With the schedule we’ve put together, the majority of the tracks I’m fortunate to have a lot of wins at, but there are also a few that I haven’t won at yet in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and will be looking to add to the win list. I’m looking forward to going out each and every race, giving it all we can to get Mr. H, HendrickCars.com, and the other partners that will fill out the schedule to Victory Lane.”

Achievements and Past Performances in the Series
Busch brings significant experience and success back to the series. Over the previous two seasons, he entered 10 truck races for Spire Motorsports, notching three wins, five top-five finishes, and six top-10s. Across his entire Truck Series career, Busch has achieved 67 wins and 144 top-10 results in 180 starts, reinforcing his position as one of the most decorated drivers in the series’ history.
The No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado RST will carry the HendrickCars.com branding for most of Busch’s eight scheduled events, aligning two major names in NASCAR.
“HendrickCars.com is proud to support Kyle and Spire Motorsports,”
said Rick Hendrick, chairman and CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group. He added:
“Kyle is one of the best drivers of his generation, and Spire is a proven winner in the Truck Series, so it’s another opportunity to align our brand with a successful driver and team. We look forward to the partnership and to connecting HendrickCars.com with more of our passionate race fans.”

Looking to Leave a Mark in 2026
While Busch is focusing on maximizing his performance in the 2026 NASCAR Truck Series, he remains determined to regain momentum in the Cup Series, seeking his first Cup win since 2023. Despite missing the Cup playoffs for two consecutive years, his recent top-10 finishes in that division signal ongoing competitiveness.
The combination of Spire Motorsports, a strong sponsorship with HendrickCars.com, and NASCAR’s rule update creates the potential for a standout season. Busch’s new schedule not only gives the Truck Series added star power, but it also delivers more opportunities for fans to see one of racing’s most accomplished drivers compete at top tracks nationwide.
