Portage, Michigan native Carson Hocevar was named the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year after posting one top-five, six top-ten, and thirteen top-fifteen finishes. In the prior year, Hocevar achieved two top-five and nine top-ten finishes, and clinched the pole at Texas Motor Speedway.
The 23-year-old began his NASCAR Cup Series participation with Spire Motorsports on June 4, 2023 at World Wide Technology Raceway. His rise through the ranks has been marked by steady improvement and notable results across various circuits and events.
