Heim impressed early in the qualifying session, setting a fast lap time of 49.138 seconds and maintaining a top-three position for much of the evening. Despite slipping down the leaderboard as more competitors finished their laps, Heim remained the quickest among the Open drivers.
Allgaier followed with a lap time of 49.201 seconds, edging out Corey LaJoie, who posted a 49.205. The session was closely contested, featuring drivers such as Anthony Alfredo, Chandler Smith, BJ McLeod, Casey Mears, and JJ Yeley, each hoping to grab a coveted spot.
