Toni Breidinger Joins Rackley WAR After Daytona Qualifying Miss

Toni Breidinger has announced she will race with Rackley WAR for the 2026 NASCAR Truck Series, taking on an eight-race schedule with the team. The move comes as Breidinger, who previously raced with Tricon Garage, looks to achieve new milestones following her transition from the ARCA Menards Series to the highly competitive Truck Series.

After securing 27 top-ten finishes prior to 2026, Breidinger found the jump to the Truck Series presented new challenges. Her strongest performance last season was an 18th-place finish at Rockingham Speedway. Following her run with Tricon Garage in 2025, she revealed she would not be returning to that team, opting instead to drive the No. 27 Chevrolet Silverado RST for Rackley WAR.

In a press statement about her new partnership, Breidinger expressed her enthusiasm, stating,

“I’m incredibly excited to join Rackley WAR and compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series again in 2026,”

—Toni Breidinger, Driver. She also shared her gratitude for her sponsors and readiness for the upcoming season, adding,

“This schedule includes some of the biggest races on the calendar, and I’m proud to represent partners like Raising Cane’s, CELSIUS and Sunoco. I’m ready to get to work and make the most of every opportunity.”

Anticipation for Daytona and Social Media Buzz

Although Breidinger is only scheduled for a partial season, her presence at Daytona International Speedway for the season opener drew attention from fans and sponsors alike. As anticipation built, she shared her excitement on Instagram, posting

“hi Daytona!! hitting the track for the first time in qualifying soon.”

Daytona Qualifying Results and Missed Opportunity

Despite the heightened anticipation for the opening race, Breidinger was unable to make the main field, falling outside the top 31 during qualifying at Daytona. Her absence from the Fresh from Florida 250 joins those of fellow drivers Norm Benning, Bryan Dauzat, Greg Van Alst, Timmy Hill, Tyler Tomassi, and Justin Carroll, all of whom also missed qualifying for this key event. The race is scheduled to air on FS1 at 7:30 p.m. ET, but fans hoping to see Breidinger behind the wheel this weekend will have to wait for her next scheduled start.

What the Move Means for Breidinger and Rackley WAR

Breidinger’s decision to team up with Rackley WAR represents an important step in her NASCAR Truck Series journey. Aligning with prominent sponsors such as Raising Cane’s, CELSIUS, and Sunoco, she aims to make the most of her part-time schedule and continue developing her racing career. With the 2026 season underway, her progress with Rackley WAR will be closely watched, both by fans and within the broader NASCAR community, as she looks to capitalize on new opportunities with her new team.
