Amanda Wallace Shares Pregnancy Journey on Social Media

Amanda Wallace recently shared a photo of her growing baby bump on Instagram, captioning the image “Pregnant Chic.” The couple, who have been together since high school and started dating during Bubba’s college years, have openly documented their experiences as their family expands. They married on New Year’s Eve 2022 and welcomed their son Becks Hayden last September. Their announcement in October about the second pregnancy generated anticipation among fans, and now, as the due date approaches, Amanda has given followers a glimpse into her pregnancy journey.

Bubba Wallace Commits to Family Over Racing If Birth Coincides With a NASCAR Event

Bubba Wallace, currently one of NASCAR’s prominent drivers, made headlines after discussing his personal priorities on The Teardown podcast. While last year Denny Hamlin missed a race in Mexico City for family reasons, Wallace made it clear he will put family first if his child’s birth conflicts with race day. Wallace reflected on missing his first child’s birth and explained his intentions this time around with determination:

“We’ve made the decision. I unfortunately missed the birth of my first kid; I’m not missing the second one. It was actually Amanda’s call on the first one. She was like, ‘Winning is so important. I don’t see a scenario where you’re not missing him, unless he came on like a Wednesday, but Becks is an asshole and came on Sunday at two o’clock. But that was her call,”

Wallace said.

“This go-around,” I said, “I’m not missing another one. People that don’t know that I missed ask, ‘Well, how did you do in the emergency room?’ I’m like, ‘I wasn’t there,’ and then you see their look on their faces, they’re like, ‘Oh,’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, I was racing,’ and I don’t want to do that.

“It’s fine. I lost the race that day. It’s okay. I can get another race next week. I don’t get another kid. I will be missing a race if it comes down to that, and that’s it, final,”

he added.

Strong NASCAR Season Continues for Wallace Despite Personal Priorities

Professionally, Bubba Wallace has shown strong form on track, recording three top-10 finishes in four NASCAR starts this season. Despite leading on two occasions—at the Daytona 500 and Echopark Speedway—his 23XI teammate Tyler Reddick ultimately secured victories in both those races and later at Circuit of the Americas. The Alabama native experienced disappointment at COTA, falling outside the top-10, but managed to recover by finishing sixth at Phoenix. His ability to climb from the back of the grid to secure key finishes demonstrates resilience during a demanding season.

Throughout recent challenges, Wallace has received support from figures such as 23XI co-owner Michael Jordan, notably after a loss in Atlanta. These relationships, along with his commitment to both career and family, continue to define his public persona. Currently, Wallace sits in third place in the standings, trailing points leader Tyler Reddick by 72 points, with 153 points overall.

What Lies Ahead for the Wallace Family and NASCAR Standings

With the due date rapidly approaching, fans and the NASCAR community are closely following the Wallace family’s next chapter. Wallace’s resolve to be present for his child’s birth could require him to miss a race—a decision that emphasizes the importance he places on family over competition. As the season progresses, Wallace’s dual commitments highlight the pressures professional athletes face when balancing high-stakes careers and personal milestones. The outcome will not only impact his own journey but also add another significant story to the ongoing NASCAR season.
