Tyler George Reddick (born January 11, 1996) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 45 Toyota Camry XSE for 23XI Racing. Reddick is a two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion, having won back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019, and he captured the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Regular Season Championship. He is widely regarded as one of the most consistent young drivers in the sport.
Early Life and Background
Tyler George Reddick was born on January 11, 1996, in Corning, California. He grew up primarily in DuQuoin, Illinois, and Peoria, Illinois, after his family moved from California. Reddick attended DuQuoin Christian Fellowship School before finishing his high school education through homeschooling, graduating in 2014.
Reddick is the son of Clarence Reddick and Geri Reddick. He is also the grandson of Benny Brown, founder of BBR Music Group. He began racing at the age of four in Outlaw Karts and quickly moved into mini sprints, midgets, dirt late models, and sprint cars.
During his early years, Reddick set several age-related records, including becoming the youngest driver to win the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Rookie of the Year in 2011. He was also the youngest driver to qualify for the pole position at Eldora Speedway’s World 100, the youngest driver to win at the East Bay Winter Nationals, and the youngest driver ever to qualify for a feature race in World of Outlaws sprint car racing.
