Daniel Suárez is a Mexican-American professional stock car racing driver competing in the NASCAR Cup Series, currently driving the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Spire Motorsports. Born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, he became the first foreign-born driver to win a NASCAR national series championship when he captured the 2016 Xfinity Series title with Joe Gibbs Racing. Across his career he has posted three Cup Series victories, including the 2022 Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma, the 2024 Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta, and the rain-shortened 2026 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte, and has recorded wins in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, Craftsman Truck Series, Mexico Series, and ARCA Menards Series East.
