De Oliveira WEC Journey: From Monza Challenges to Global Racing Pursuit

De Oliveira WEC Journey: In the fifth WEC event at Monza, de Oliveira’s first race with Vanwall proved crucial. He has Formula Nippon, and SUPER GT wins. After Tom Dillmann left ByKolles, Brazilian Esteban Guerrieri and Tristan Vautier replaced him.

After winning the SUPER GT GT300 class for Kondo Racing last year, de Oliveira said he wanted to try racing in other nations. He started by racing internationally at Monza. He saw the need to battle top-tier opponents in the WEC at 42.

De Oliveira saw how difficult WEC was. He felt the Hypercar, LMP2, and GTE classes were tough. He was delighted by the challenge and driven to improve and offer his best.

The LMGT3 class joining the WEC next year motivates de Oliveira. He wants to take advantage of Le Mans and Daytona. De Oliveira thinks racing in the GT3 class is possible and appealing, even though the Hypercar class is competitive.

De Oliveira recalls his first Vanwall race at Monza as tough and unusual. Pit stops to adjust brake ducts made the race harder. De Oliveira was committed to help the squad succeed, even if they ended 20th.

De Oliveira’s practicality helped him adjust to switching cars midseason. The course was unfamiliar, and the automobile had been changed since his last test. He fearlessly addressed the task and concentrated on preventing mistakes and helping his team.

De Oliveira’s willingness to tackle issues shows his drive to develop. Using Monza’s lessons, he’ll race alongside Vanwall in the following WEC event at Fuji. De Oliveira won’t compete in Bahrain’s season finale due to SUPER GT obligations. He’s persevered.

De Oliveira is optimistic yet realistic about his third Fuji race. He uses Monza as a stepping stone to improve at Fuji. De Oliveira’s capacity to adjust and work hard boosts his confidence and performance, even if he doesn’t believe things will improve quickly.

De Oliveira’s journey spans many races. It shows how global racing pursues development, difficulties, and change. His experience shows how drivers who push themselves may succeed.
