Kostecki Qualifying Performance : A Remarkable Triumph on the Track

Kostecki Qualifying Performance: The series boss showed their skill during the three-part session. He ran a great second quarter of 1 minute, 49.862 seconds. But he kept his best for the third quarter when he ran 1 minute, 49.581 seconds and defeated everyone. This amazing feat put him three-tenths ahead of his nearest challenger, Thomas Randle. Kostecki was 12th quickest in the second session after a poor morning practice. During qualifying, he was in control.

“We started poorly, but the team’s hard work improved things,” Kostecki remarked. I was amazed by the car’s qualifying performance. It was excellent, as time shows. He also said the team was responsible for their success. He was relieved to make up for practice 2, especially following an accident in America.

Randle finished second in qualifying at the same racetrack as last year, matching his best performance. However, his clutch failed, and he was stranded on the grid. This caused him to collide with Andre Heimgartner. The crash sent both drivers to the hospital. Thankfully, neither was seriously hurt.

Cam Waters was third fastest, followed by Broc Feeney. Feeney became a title challenger after Kostecki. Chaz Mostert and Shane van Gisbergen placed fifth and sixth. The race went better for Van Gisbergen than practice, where he struggled.

Grove Racing did strongly under Matt Payne, finishing ninth. This outperformed Will Brown, Heimgartner, and Jack Le Brocq. Nick Percat qualified well but didn’t advance to the third round and started 11th. He was unwell with the flu at the time.

Dick Johnson Racing made a mistake in the second qualifying session, hurting their performance. The first and third Shell Fords bet on their timetables. I intended to keep a spare pair of tires for the third quarter but failed.

“We were outsmarted,” De Pasquale said. It’s hard because we made some snap decisions this year. That puts you in the bottom ten because you can’t get new tires. We made a mistake this time, but if we had chosen a different group, we wouldn’t have an additional one for next time. It doesn’t bother me. Our cars can compete, and we’ll keep going.

How can I watch Bathurst live?

To catch the Bathurst 1000 weekend in Australia, you have four options: Channel 7, Kayo, Foxtel iQ, and Foxtel Now. Channel 7 is the simplest choice, but it doesn’t provide complete coverage. Kayo, on the other hand, offers exclusive features, a dedicated Bathurst Channel, and classic Bathurst races dating back to 1997.
