The Menards-sponsored No. 12 winning car, along with the championship trophy, will be on display for fans to get an up-close look at the historic moment.
The event, announced by Visit Eau Claire on Nov. 10, is open to the public with free admission. Doors will open at 6 pm, followed by special programming to enhance the celebration experience. Racing enthusiasts and the community at large are invited to join in commemorating Ryan Blaney’s outstanding season, which culminated in his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series championship.
Blaney secured the championship on Sunday, Nov. 5, delivering what NASCAR acclaimed as his best career performance. The victory not only marked a significant achievement for Blaney but also secured Team Penske’s second consecutive title in NASCAR’s premier series. The occasion was part of Ford’s overall triumph during Championship Weekend at Phoenix Raceway, as reported by NASCAR.
Reflecting on his win, Blaney expressed, “Unbelievable year, unbelievable playoffs for us. To win back-to-back Cup titles for (team owner Roger) Penske, thats so special. Having my family here, winning my first Cup title, I got emotional in the car. Im not a very emotional guy.” The celebration at the Pablo Center aims to capture the essence of this emotional and historic moment in Blaney’s career.
