Front Row Motorsports Taps Layne Riggs for 2024 NASCAR Truck Series Campaign

Layne Riggs for 2024 NASCAR: Front Row Motorsports (FRM) has announced Layne Riggs as their contender for the 2024 NASCAR Truck Series championship, securing a multi-year deal with the 21-year-old driver.

Riggs made an impressive debut in the NASCAR Truck Series back in 2022, clinching a commendable seventh-place finish in his maiden race. Since then, he’s participated in five additional Truck races, securing a notable third-place finish at IRP earlier this year.

Notably, Riggs also marked his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2023, contesting three races with Kaulig Racing and achieving a commendable tenth-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

His racing journey encompasses several seasons in the CARS Late Model Tour, boasting an impressive track record with six victories to his name.

Taking the wheel of the No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford, a seat previously held by Zane Smith who has transitioned to the Cup Series, Riggs expressed his gratitude for the opportunity. “I’m incredibly appreciative of Bob [Jenkins] and everyone at Front Row for providing me the opportunity to take the next step in my racing career,” said Riggs in a team statement.

FRM plans to unveil the partners for Riggs’ rookie campaign at a later date, with Dylan Cappello taking the helm as the crew chief for the No. 38 team.

Bob Jenkins, owner at FRM, commended Riggs not only for his racing prowess but also for his dedication to education alongside his racing commitments. “We’ve already seen a lot of potential in Layne, and he’s a perfect fit for our program to develop him into a national series NASCAR winner,” Jenkins commented on Riggs’ commitment and potential.
