UniFirst 2024 NASCAR Expansion: Chase Elliott’s No. 9 Partnership

UniFirst 2024 NASCAR Expansion: UniFirst, a leading provider of business uniform programs and essential services, revealed an expanded partnership plan with Hendrick Motorsports, announcing its primary race sponsorship schedule for the upcoming 2024 NASCAR season. The No. 9 UniFirst Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, driven by the 2020 Cup Series champion Chase Elliott, will see action in an impressive five races—an increase from last year’s three-race appearance.

The upcoming season’s paint scheme, unveiled by UniFirst, showcases the company’s distinctive green hue and logo designs, enhanced by sleek black and white racing accents adorning the car’s exterior. Elliott and the entire No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports race team will don fire suits designed to match the UniFirst car’s aesthetics, featuring the company’s colors and logo.

David Katz, UniFirst’s Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, expressed excitement about the extended partnership, stating, “The No. 9 UniFirst Chevy flaunts an iconic green paint scheme that truly embodies our brand on the racetrack. We’re delighted to offer fans more chances to witness Chase’s remarkable wins behind the wheel of this dynamic car.”

The No. 9 UniFirst Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will make its debut at Richmond Raceway on March 31, followed by appearances at Martinsville Speedway on April 7, Darlington Raceway on May 12, Kansas Speedway on September 29, and the Charlotte ROVAL on October 13. Additionally, UniFirst will be an associate sponsor of the No. 9 car for all other races throughout the 2024 campaign.

Elliott, recently crowned NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver for the sixth consecutive year, shared his enthusiasm for the continuing partnership with UniFirst, stating, “I’m thrilled to pilot the UniFirst Chevy again next year and strive for more victories. Our collaboration with UniFirst has seen memorable moments, and I’m eagerly anticipating many more.”

The 2024 NASCAR season marks the eighth year of UniFirst’s partnership with Hendrick Motorsports and the fifth year as a sponsor of Elliott and the No. 9 team. UniFirst remains the Official Workwear Provider of Hendrick Motorsports, supplying work clothing and uniforms not only to the team but also to its sister company, Hendrick Automotive Group.

Hendrick Motorsports, founded by Rick Hendrick in 1984, stands as the winningest team in NASCAR Cup Series history. With a remarkable 14 championships, the organization holds all-time records in major statistical categories, including points-paying race victories and laps led. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024, the team fields four full-time Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 entries in the NASCAR Cup Series with drivers Alex Bowman, William Byron, Chase Elliott, and Kyle Larson. Headquartered in Concord, North Carolina, Hendrick Motorsports employs about 600 people.
