NASCAR Cup Series Playoff Standings After Bristol: Following the Bristol race on September 21, 2024, which was the 29th event of the season, the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs are set to begin with 16 eligible drivers. These drivers will compete across four rounds during the final 10 races of the season. In the first three rounds, which each consist of three races, four drivers will be eliminated after each round based on their performance and points earned. The final round will feature the remaining four drivers competing for the championship title in a season-ending race. The highest-finishing driver among these finalists will be crowned the champion, culminating a competitive season in dramatic fashion.
