Corey Heim didn’t just win Saturday’s LiUNA! 150 at Lime Rock Park — he rewrote the script on road course dominance in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. In the series’ inaugural visit to the famed 1.478-mile road course in Lakeville, Connecticut, Heim led all but one lap, swept both stages, and claimed his fifth win of the 2025 season.
It marked Heim’s third consecutive road-course victory, a first in Truck Series history, as he added Lime Rock to a growing list that already includes Circuit of The Americas. From the drop of the green flag to the final turn, Heim and the No. 11 Tricon Garage Toyota were simply untouchable.
Corey Heim Leads 99 of 100 Laps in Commanding Performance
Starting from the pole, Heim took immediate control and never looked back. He built a 7-second lead in Stage 1 and matched that pace again in Stage 2, winning both segments by wide margins. He even set the fastest lap of the race on just his second tour of the circuit with a 54.941-second flyer.
The only moment of vulnerability came during a restart with five laps to go after Matt Mills stalled near Turn 1. Layne Riggs briefly took the lead at the line on Lap 96, but he dove too deep into Turn 1, opening the door for Heim to retake the top spot.
From there, it was cruise control.
“These road courses are something I really prepare forThe truck was just flawless. That’s about as good as it gets.” – Corey Heim
Ty Majeski Capitalizes Late, Claims Runner-Up
While Heim cruised, Ty Majeski was grinding. The defending series champion struggled early but steadily improved as the race progressed. On the final restart, Majeski steered clear of the Turn 1 traffic jam caused by Riggs and emerged in second, finishing just 1.381 seconds behind Heim.
“We got the truck close at the end, but I messed up in Turn 4. Still, this is the kind of momentum we need going into the playoff stretch.” – Ty Majeski
It was a critical performance for Majeski, whose season had been solid but unspectacular until Saturday. With strong road courses like Watkins Glen and Richmond upcoming, Majeski may be rounding into form at just the right time.
Ruggiero, Rhodes, Waters Make It a ThorSport Trio in Top Five
Rookie Giovanni Ruggiero claimed third — another eye-catching result for the young driver — while Ben Rhodes and Cam Waters completed the top five, giving ThorSport Racing three trucks in that elite group.
For Waters, a Supercars ace from Australia, the finish marked his best career NASCAR result and validated his growing reputation as a versatile talent. Chandler Smith was sixth, followed by Josh Bilicki, Brent Crews, Daniel Hemric, and Tyler Ankrum to round out the top 10.
Road-course specialist Jordan Taylor ran third in both stages but faded late to finish 20th.
Late Restart Chaos Costs Riggs and Others
Riggs’ aggressive restart move into Turn 1 may have briefly earned him the lead, but it ultimately scrambled the order and cost several drivers a shot at a top-five result. Riggs slipped back to 13th by the checkered flag, and others caught in the bottleneck — including Tanner Gray and Thomas Annunziata — lost multiple spots.
The final restart proved to be the race’s only flashpoint. Aside from that, the race was remarkably clean for a technical, twisting road course. Only a few single-car issues and mechanical DNFs were logged, and NASCAR officials confirmed post-race inspection was clear, cementing Heim’s dominant win.

News in Brief: NASCAR Truck Finishing Order at Lime Rock
Corey Heim’s statement win at Lime Rock wasn’t just a road-course clinic — it was a championship warning shot. With five wins, 14 stage victories, and a growing lead in the points, Heim has transformed from title hopeful to clear front-runner.
But beyond Heim’s brilliance, Saturday’s race also marked a success for NASCAR. Lime Rock’s Truck Series debut was clean, competitive, and refreshing — a road course that rewarded discipline and punished mistakes. The playoff picture shifted again, with ThorSport showing serious depth, and rookies like Ruggiero continuing to shine.
The series now rolls into Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, where short-track aggression will replace precision cornering. But if the rest of the field was hoping Heim’s road magic would fade, they may be in for a long summer.
