Optum, Alloy Sponsor Josh Williams Hospital Tour, Bringing NASCAR Star’s Hospital Visits to More Kids

Optum has joined forces with Alloy Employer Services to back Josh Williams in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, bringing new energy to the Josh Williams Hospital Tour sponsorship as Williams competes at Daytona International Speedway’s Wawa 250 on August 22. This partnership will help Williams travel to even more children’s hospitals across the racing season, expanding the reach and impact of his hands-on visits to young patients and their families.

Expanding Support for Kids in Hospitals

With Optum as the Official Sponsor of the Josh Williams Hospital Tour, the initiative will grow to include additional hospitals and site visits throughout the year. Williams is known for hosting in-hospital TV shows, visiting with kids and their loved ones, and offering children the special chance to put their painted handprints on his car’s paint scheme for the last race of each season. Optum’s involvement ensures that the tour will bring more smiles and memorable moments to young patients across the country, reaching new communities at every stop.

Partnership Extends to Major NASCAR Events

Beyond the Daytona event, Optum will also take on the role of primary partner for the JWHT car at other major races, including at the Charlotte ROVAL, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and Phoenix Raceway. These events form key highlights of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, giving Josh Williams and his hospital visit efforts greater visibility on and off the racetrack.
