NASCAR Truck Series Richmond Results: Corey Heim Wins, Full eero 250 Finish Order

Corey Heim’s seventh victory of the season came under the bright lights of Richmond Raceway, but it was no easy drive. The 23-year-old from Georgia had to battle hard against Ty Majeski, survive late-race chaos, and seize an opening at just the right moment. What followed was a night of speed, drama, and history as Heim added yet another milestone to his growing NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career.

Key Highlights

  • Corey Heim earned his seventh win of the season and first short-track victory

  • Ty Majeski led a race-best 143 laps but finished second after late-race trouble

  • Heim broke Kyle Busch’s record as the youngest to reach 18 career wins

  • Jake Garcia clinched a playoff berth with a steady seventh-place run

  • The 10-driver playoff field is officially set heading into Darlington Raceway

Heim’s Late-Race Execution

From the moment the green flag waved, Corey Heim knew he would need to be both patient and precise. Starting from pole, he was locked into a tense battle with Ty Majeski, who swept both stage wins and led 143 of 250 laps. Majeski appeared to be the truck to beat until a late incident with teammate Matt Crafton derailed his dominant night. Heim, who led 75 laps in the No. 11 Tricon Garage Toyota, capitalized when it mattered most. With 20 laps to go, he surged into the lead and never looked back, holding off Majeski by 0.923 seconds at the finish line.

“Felt like we were the best truck at [short tracks] Martinsville and North Wilkesboro, but they got away from us and we kind of got this one back. I didn’t feel like we were the best truck tonight. I feel like the 98 [Majeski] was really stout, but obviously had a run-in and got some damage. Being there when it counted was the first goal and we were and just able to execute from there.” – Corey Heim

With the victory, Heim not only padded his regular-season championship campaign but also surpassed Kyle Busch as the youngest driver in Truck Series history to reach 18 career wins.

Playoff Field Takes Shape

Friday’s finale also set the 10-driver playoff grid. Heim, Layne Riggs, Chandler Smith, Daniel Hemric, Tyler Ankrum, and Rajah Caruth advanced via victories, while Majeski, Grant Enfinger, Kaden Honeycutt, and Jake Garcia secured their spots on points. For Garcia, it was a pressure-filled night that ended in relief. The 20-year-old ThorSport Racing driver managed to keep his cool, finishing seventh and edging Ben Rhodes by 19 points for the final playoff spot.

“Just did my best to run a smart race the second half. Even in the first half there were moments we were four-wide and that’s not gonna work out at Richmond. There were some points I had to bail out and lost a lot of spots on the restarts just being really conservative. But our truck was really fast and I think we could have finished top five. I want to thank all my guys. They worked really, really hard on this truck like they do all the trucks and gave me a really fast piece today.” – Jake Garcia

Joining Garcia in the top ten were Riggs in third, Sammy Smith in fourth, Corey LaJoie in fifth, and Gio Ruggiero with a career-best sixth. Chandler Smith and Honeycutt rounded out the group, securing crucial momentum before the playoffs begin.
