Front Row Motorsports showed resilience at Richmond Raceway as Zane Smith captured an 11th place finish, demonstrating improvement ahead of the upcoming Daytona Playoffs. The team, pushing through recent challenges, used Sunday’s race to build renewed momentum, reinforcing their focus on strong results at Daytona. These Front Row Motorsports Richmond Raceway results underscore the team’s continued commitment to playoff aspirations.
Throughout the event, Zane Smith worked his way up from an 18th-place finish in Stage One and 27th in Stage Two to end just outside the top ten. The result marks a positive turn after a series of tough races, strengthening the team‘s confidence as they approach another critical race. The Track proved demanding, but Smith’s effort provided valuable points and increased morale within the garage.
“Really happy with the trajectory we’re on right now,”
said Smith.
“Had a tough stretch but I feel like we’re getting back to where we were. Bummed we couldn’t pull out the top-10 finish, but overall happy with our progress the last couple of weeks. We know what the goal is at Daytona – to race our way into the Playoffs.”

Todd Gilliland Battles Adversity After Early Setbacks
Todd Gilliland experienced difficulties in his Richmond campaign, starting from the back following a tough qualifying session. Despite showing promise in practice, he finished 30th in Stage One and managed to reach 21st by Stage Two, ultimately securing 25th at the checkered flag. Gilliland and his crew tried multiple adjustments on pit road to regain ground, but a late pileup curtailed any significant progress.

“We can’t seem to shake this bad luck,”
said Gilliland.
“We showed speed in practice but struggled during qualifying and had to fight from the back at the start of the race. During the race, we made adjustments on pit road, but it wasn’t enough to climb through the field. Getting caught up in that big pileup didn’t help either. We’ll regroup and head to Daytona with our heads high.”

“Richmond’s always been a track where discipline matters, and while the past few weeks haven’t gone the way we want, I’m proud of the effort this team continues to put in,”
said Gragson.
“We’re fighting through the challenges, learning from each weekend, and staying focused on the bigger picture. Every race gives us something to build on, and I know our group won’t stop pushing until we’re back where we belong.”
