Heim Secures Top Spot Amid Intense Competition
Corey Heim claimed the pole for the Team EJP 175, setting the fastest time among a field of 36 drivers at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His strong performance positions him as the favorite entering the race, representing a significant advantage for Team EJP and drawing attention to his consistency in qualifying rounds.
Mike Christopher Jr. Begins Truck Series Journey
Mike Christopher Jr., known for his regular appearances in Stafford Speedway’s SK Modified division, will make his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start from 29th position. Christopher placed 29th in qualifying and 27th in practice out of 36 drivers, underscoring the challenge he faces in his series debut at NHMS.
Reflecting on his performance, Christopher admitted to ongoing adjustments as he adapts to the truck’s dynamics in the corners.
“I don’t really have the speed in it right now. But they’re explaining skew right now and like the feeling of getting into the corner and the thing pitches sideways and the air catches it,”
Christopher said.
“I don’t know. I have all night to think about it and figure out what I can change. … Obviously wish I was better. I have 175 laps to gain trust in it.”
