Kaulig Racing has chosen ARCA Menards Series champion Brenden “Butterbean” Queen as the first driver for its Kaulig Racing RAM Truck Series entry in the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The announcement marks Queen as the initial member of a five-driver lineup set to race under the RAM-backed NCTS banner, supporting Kaulig Racing’s ambition to stake a claim in the series with fresh talent.
Queen’s Path to the Truck Series Seat
Queen, a standout performer in the 2025 AMS season, secured his new position after eight race victories and notching 17 top-five finishes, ultimately clinching the series championship. Queen’s strong showing for Kaulig Racing in the Xfinity Series, including a ninth-place finish and eight laps led at Kansas, cemented his reputation as a rising star. Following these successes, Kaulig Racing confirmed earlier this week that Queen would see out the Xfinity Series season driving the No. 11 car.
“A big thanks to Matt Kaulig, Chris Rice, RAM, and everyone at Kaulig Racing for this opportunity,”
said Queen in the official team statement.
“I’m just a short-track kid who’s worked hard every day, never really knowing if I’d ever make it to this level. I’m very thankful for this chance and can’t wait to get rolling with RAM and Kaulig Racing. The goals are simple: build a winning team and chase championships.”

Team Leadership Praises Queen’s Achievements
Chris Rice, CEO of Kaulig Racing, emphasized Queen’s readiness for the Truck Series based on his track record and determination.
“It’s been amazing to see what Brenden is capable of, from winning multiple championships at his local short track to his dominant ARCA championship season,”
said Rice.
“He’s proven he deserves this opportunity, and we can’t wait to see what he does in the Truck Series next year.”

Awaiting Further Announcements
Details such as Queen’s truck number and the program’s sponsors are expected to be revealed in the coming months. Queen’s addition signals a new chapter for both his career and for Kaulig Racing, with both aiming for further victories as the team prepares for its entry into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2026. The inclusion of Queen and other upcoming drivers is poised to impact the trajectory of both the organization and the wider RAM Truck Series field.
