Kyle Larson High Limit Racing Series has redefined motorsport scheduling by offering a more adaptable experience for racing teams, announcing a 66-race lineup for its 2026 season that begins at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and wraps up at Texas Motor Speedway. The upcoming schedule is crafted to prioritize team flexibility, making it a standout option in the racing community as the series continues to expand its national presence.
New Schedule Aims to Benefit Teams and Drivers
The High Limit Racing Series, recognized as a rapidly rising name among U.S. motorsports organizations, is known for its open approach and strong support for its competitors and fans. Co-owner Kyle Larson emphasized that the new schedule intentionally features fewer races compared to rivals, in order to give teams the opportunity to rest or pursue other events on certain weekends. The difference is especially notable when compared to the World of Outlaws, which typically fills its calendar with around 90 races per season, leaving drivers with very few weekends off except for holidays like the Fourth of July and Easter.
Larson, in an appearance on The RACER Channel’s 6th Annual Industry Week, underlined one of the series’ fundamental goals:
“Teams need to have the freedom and flexibility to go do what they want on some of the off weekends. Whether that’s being at your home base, or, if you’re feeling frisky, go race still.”

High Limit vs. World of Outlaws: A New Direction
The persistent comparisons between Kyle Larson High Limit Racing and the established World of Outlaws (WoO) highlight the evolution of sprint car racing. As a Hendrick Motorsports driver, Larson commented on the demanding nature of traditional schedules, explaining that non-stop events can lead to fatigue and even a loss of passion among drivers. He added:
“I think our teams enjoy it. We looked at the Outlaw schedule, and if it’s anything like normal, it’s 90 races. Every weekend, they’re racing.”

Larson also pointed out the unique draw of his series:
“Our teams get to race for money in a less amount of races. I don’t know why you wouldn’t… Everybody would want to follow what we are doing because the flexibility of it all is incredible.”

Continuous Growth and Fan Engagement
Since its launch, the High Limit Racing Series has been in constant expansion. The inaugural 2023 season included 12 races, followed by more than 50 race nights in 2024, and then 65 events across 36 venues in 2025. Now, with 66 scheduled races for 2026, the series is steadily growing its reach and appeal. This upward trend demonstrates not only increased interest from organizers and drivers but also mounting enthusiasm among fans, as indicated by the series’ energetic presence on social platforms like @HighLimitRacing.
With its innovative approach and focus on sustainable competition, Kyle Larson High Limit Racing Series continues to redefine how modern motorsports are managed. As the new season approaches, all eyes are on its unique format and what it might mean for the sport’s future, with fans and teams eagerly considering which events to attend and which drivers will rise to the occasion in 2026.
