David Toomey, Chief of the Lucas-Riverbend Fire Department, confirmed to local media that the residence belonged to the parents of acclaimed NASCAR Cup Series driver Denny Hamlin. “They had some really expensive cars in the garage and some racing memorabilia and stuff, so all that was saved,”
Toomey stated to The Athletic.
“We were able to save all that and get it out so it wasn’t damaged.”
