Kevin Harvick’s Son Keelan Sets 2026 Racing Plans With Rackley WAR

Keelan Harvick is set to continue his run with his father’s team, KHI Racing, after confirming plans to compete with Rackley-Willie Allen Racing (Rackley WAR) in the 2026 racing season. The 13-year-old driver will be back behind the wheel of the No. 62 car, following a standout year that has solidified his reputation in the world of full-bodied stock car racing and increased anticipation around Kevin Harvick racing plans.

Over the current season, Keelan secured multiple victories in Pro Late Model events, including a notable win at North Wilkesboro Speedway. He also achieved a runner-up finish in the Masters of the Pros 200 at Owosso Speedway, further expanding his list of accomplishments. Most impressively, Keelan became the youngest racer ever to claim victory in the prestigious Snowflake 125.

Rackley WAR Announces Long-Term Collaboration

The ongoing partnership with Keelan Harvick was confirmed by Rackley WAR’s official social media announcement, highlighting a commitment to continued success.

“[Rackley war] is set for another year of chasing wins with KPH 🚨 .[Keelan Harvick] returns to the RW No. 62 with plans of taking on new challenges and new tracks in 2026.”

Rackley WAR and KHI Racing initially joined forces in 2024 when Kevin Harvick brought his expertise as a former NASCAR champion and successful Truck Series championship owner into the fold. The collaboration aimed to boost Rackley’s Truck program, with rookie Dawson Sutton taking part in the development year. Keelan quickly became part of this joint effort, steering both Super Late Model and Pro Late Model entries under the guidance of his father, who took on a consulting role within the team’s truck operations.

Breaking Records and Impressing on the Track

This month, Keelan Harvick further etched his name in the record books by winning the Snowflake 125 at Five Flags Speedway at just 13 years, 4 months, and 29 days old, making him the youngest driver ever to conquer this high-profile event. Starting from the 15th position, his calculated moves through the field eventually secured him the race lead with 24 laps remaining, a performance that caught the attention of both fans and seasoned racers alike.

Kevin Harvick shared his observations from Keelan’s impressive run, offering thoughts on what stood out during a conversation with NASCAR reporter Matt Weaver.

“I think when you look at the progression of just him going through traffic. When he was trying to set somebody up to pass him, all those things are the types of things that I liked about tonight. I love the fact that he won against a great field of cars. That’s what we try to do, we try to run the competitive races because you learn more,” Kevin Harvick said (00:15 onwards).

Father and Son Compete Across the Country

The racing calendar also saw the father-son duo of Kevin and Keelan Harvick face off on several prominent short tracks throughout the year. Their first joint appearance took place on May 31 at Kern County Raceway in California, where Keelan captured the win in one of the 75-lap features, while Kevin secured victory in the other CARS Tour West Pro Late Model race.

The competition continued at Evergreen Speedway in Washington, where Keelan narrowly finished second with Kevin in fourth. At Hickory Motor Speedway, Keelan put on a dominating performance in the Pro Late Model feature, leading almost every lap and earning his first CARS Tour victory—beating his father and the rest of the field.

Looking Ahead to 2026 and Beyond

Keelan Harvick’s ongoing partnership with Rackley WAR not only builds on his own growing legacy but also highlights the influence of his father, Kevin Harvick, whose career as a driver and team owner continues to shape the next generation. As Keelan prepares to tackle a broader range of tracks and challenges, the continued collaboration between KHI Racing and Rackley promises exciting developments in both the Pro Late Model circuit and beyond, keeping the spotlight on the Harvick family’s impact in the racing world.
