Brad Keselowski Bids Farewell to RFK Racing Team Member

In a recent Brad Keselowski RFK Racing update, the veteran NASCAR driver took a moment to recognize Elijah Burke, RFK Racing‘s longtime social media manager, following Burke’s departure from the team. The show of appreciation unfolded on social media, highlighting the close bonds within the racing community.

Elijah Burke, who spent the past four years managing RFK Racing’s presence on X (formerly Twitter), closed out his tenure with signature humor. The Kannapolis, North Carolina native posted a lighthearted farewell video, poking fun at the team’s strict rules about touching race cars, as he cheekily touched the No. 17 Ford in his clip. Burke’s final post, “Admin signing off 🫡,” marked the end of his run, drawing responses from fans and team members alike.

Brad Keselowski responded to Burke’s post by stating,

“Thanks for all you did for RFK Elijah, best wishes,” Brad Keselowski wrote in response.

During his time, Burke shaped RFK Racing’s social media voice, blending humor and engagement to connect with NASCAR fans online. His departure signifies a transition in how the team will interact with its digital community going forward.

Driver Recovery and Lineup Adjustments for Upcoming Events

As RFK Racing looks toward the upcoming Cup Series season, Brad Keselowski is also in the midst of recovering from a recent injury. The No. 6 driver sustained a leg fracture during a family ski trip but is expected to return for the Daytona 500. While Keselowski recovers, Corey LaJoie, another prominent name in NASCAR, will substitute for him at The Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, taking over the No. 6 Ford entry.

Additionally, LaJoie is set to drive the RFK Racing #99 car at Daytona, increasing the team’s entry list to four cars for the superspeedway event. Keselowski has commented that adding a fourth car enhances RFK Racing’s chances of clinching a victory, especially at high-odds events like Daytona. LaJoie, known for his strong performance at last year’s Daytona 500—where he ran in the top five and even led laps before being caught in a final-lap wreck—brings further optimism for the team’s prospects.

RFK Leadership Details Keselowski’s Road to Recovery

Providing a thorough Brad Keselowski RFK Racing update, team president Chris Bowers spoke with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio about the driver’s injury rehabilitation. Bowers described both the seriousness of the fracture and the confidence everyone has in Keselowski’s return, thanks to advances in medical treatment and strict adherence to recovery plans.

“Yeah, it’s one of the biggest bones in the body, but modern medicine is just unbelievable. You know, he’s doing everything the doctors told him would happen; everything the doctor told him would happen has happened, and he’s followed his plan to a T,” he said.

“And so once they got the X-ray back, and it showed the injury, and it was a clean break and all the things that they were hoping would be the case, they thought for certain at that point that without a setback he could be racing in Daytona, and so he’s been hyper-focused on that, as have we as an organization, and it’s been business as usual over here,” the RFK Racing president concluded.

According to Bowers, Keselowski has already begun logging time on the racing simulator, further indicating positive progress. At 41, Keselowski remains determined to return to top form. While he will miss media day due to lingering effects from his recovery, he maintains his goal to compete in the Daytona 500, aligning with earlier forecasts from doctors that he would be fit by The Clash.
