Tyler Reddick of 23XI Racing claimed the win at EchoPark Speedway in the Autotrader 400, as Rick Ware Racing (RWR) encountered challenges at the same event. Reddick’s victory marked his tenth career NASCAR Cup Series triumph, while RWR’s efforts were hampered by an accident that impacted their finishing position and points tally.
Race Highlights and Key Performances
Reddick crossed the finish line just 0.164 seconds ahead of Chase Briscoe, sealing his second win of the 2026 season and his first at EchoPark Speedway. The race was intense, with 10 caution periods amounting to 67 laps under yellow flags. Competitors Austin Cindric of Team Penske and Bubba Wallace of 23XI Racing took Stage 1 and Stage 2 victories, respectively.
Only 21 out of 38 drivers finished on the lead lap, reflecting the race’s demanding nature. Tyler Reddick continues as the season’s championship leader, holding a 40-point margin over Bubba Wallace following the EchoPark Speedway showdown.
Rick Ware Racing’s Battle on the Track
Cody Ware represented Rick Ware Racing at EchoPark Speedway, starting 18th and finishing 27th after being involved in an accident, completing 257 of the scheduled 271 laps. Ware now stands 28th in the points with a total of 30 points.
RWR’s day ended with disappointment after showing competitive speed earlier in the event, with the team aiming to regroup for upcoming races.
Driver Reflections After a Turbulent Race
After the event, Cody Ware of the No. 51 BlueHighway.ai Chevrolet shared his thoughts:
“Missed a couple of (wrecks), but just couldn’t miss the last one. I can avoid a lot of that stuff, but the last one got us there at the end. A disappointing end to the day for the BlueHighway.ai Chevrolet. It just seems like we can’t get quite to the end at this spring race here in Atlanta. But we’ll re-rack and get ready for COTA. I’m just proud of the speed that the car and the team exhibited, and we’ve just got to keep digging and moving forward.”

Looking Ahead to Circuit of the Americas
The next race on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar is the DuraMax Grand Prix powered by RelaDyne, set for March 1 at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas. Both Reddick and RWR will be looking to build on their respective performances as the season progresses, with coverage available on FOX and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
