Brickyard 400

The Brickyard 400 is a premier NASCAR Cup Series race held annually at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. First run in 1994, it was the first NASCAR event at this historic track since 1916 and instantly became NASCAR’s most-attended race. The speedway, known as “The Brickyard,” was originally paved with bricks in 1909. Jeff Gordon won the inaugural race and holds the most victories. The race is typically held in late July or early August.
