Josh Berry is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports. He gained prominence in the late model racing circuit, particularly through his success in the CARS Tour where he earned numerous victories and accolades. Josh Berry, born on October 22, 1990, in Hendersonville, Tennessee, has a personal life that reflects his roots and connections to his community. Before his racing career took off, providing a steady source of income, Berry worked as a bank teller. He is also a graduate of Volunteer State Community College.

Berry’s early life was intertwined with notable figures; he was classmates with IndyCar champion Josef Newgarden during middle school and attended high school with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Beginning his journey in the Tennessee Karting Association at the age of eight, Berry quickly demonstrated his racing potential. After honing his skills in go-karts, he and his father made the decision in 2006 to step up to U.S. Legend Cars, setting the stage for further advancement in his racing career.

Berry’s significant break came in 2010 when he was invited by Dale Earnhardt Jr., co-owner of JR Motorsports (JRM), to join their Late Model program.
