Team Penske is set to commemorate its 60th anniversary with a striking return of the PPG livery across nine standout NTT INDYCAR SERIES and NASCAR Cup Series races in 2026. The iconic colors of PPG will enhance the presence of the team’s expanded driver lineup, marking a milestone season and putting a spotlight on Team Penske’s legacy in motorsports.
PPG Livery Featured Across Multiple Events in 2026
Celebrating six decades of racing, Team Penske and PPG (NYSE: PPG) announced that the memorable PPG color scheme will appear on cars piloted by Josef Newgarden, Scott McLaughlin, and Austin Cindric. Newgarden, a two-time INDYCAR SERIES champion and back-to-back Indianapolis 500 winner, is scheduled to drive the No. 2 PPG Chevrolet in five INDYCAR races. Scott McLaughlin will sport the PPG livery in the No. 3 Chevrolet at two key INDYCAR events: the Freedom 250 Grand Prix of Washington, D.C. on August 23 and Milwaukee Mile Race 2 on August 30 in West Allis, Wisconsin. Austin Cindric, representing the NASCAR Cup Series, will take the wheel of the No. 2 PPG Ford Mustang Dark Horse at the AdventHealth 400 on April 19 in Kansas City, Kansas.
Wood Brothers Racing, which maintains a technical alliance with Team Penske, will have Josh Berry driving the No. 21 PPG Ford Mustang Dark Horse at the Brickyard 400, presented by PPG, on July 26 at Indianapolis. Berry also competed with this livery at the 2025 Brickyard 400 and will make a return in 2026.
