The Duel at Daytona
The Duel at Daytona, formerly known as the Twin 125s, is a pair of 150-mile NASCAR Cup Series qualifying races held annually since 1959 at Daytona International Speedway. These races set the starting lineup for the Daytona 500 except the front-row starters, adding strategic excitement. Originally counted for championship points, they transitioned to non-points events after 1971.

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Duel at Daytona was held on February 13, 2025, at the legendary Daytona International Speedway.
This event consisted of two 150-mile qualifying races, both essential for determining the starting positions for the Daytona 500.
Duel 1 began at 7:00 PM ET, followed by Duel 2 at 8:45 PM ET, both on the same day. Bubba Wallace won Duel 1, and Austin Cindric won Duel 2, both held on February 13, 2025.
