Jason Alan White and Chris Hacker Arrested: Bad things happened in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Lawbreakers Jason Alan White and Chris Hacker are drivers. Both were arrested for DUI on two separate occasions.
Chris Hacker is 23 and from Noblesville, Indiana. He’s raced four NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and two Xfinity Series events in 2023. He’s accused of speeding and hazardous driving. North Carolina court records show that both males were charged with additional offenses and suspended from driving for 30 days. On September 19, Hacker will appear in court.
The Hacker event on August 15 was in Huntersville, NC. He was pulled over on I-77 north of Charlotte, North Carolina, shortly after midnight for speeding, according to the police report.
Jason White, 44, from Richmond, Virginia, raced in the Truck Series. Similar atrocities have been accused of him. White has a September 6 court date. He has only played one game this season.
On August 3, the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office arrested White in Huntersville early that evening. NASCAR immediately suspended both drivers indefinitely.
Hacker has raced 14 NASCAR Truck Series races since 2021. This year, his best finish was 12th at North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway in an On Point Motorsports Toyota. RSS Racing has entered him in two NASCAR Xfinity Series races this season. He finished 14th in Richmond in April, his best finish.
White has raced for 12 years. He has started 157 NASCAR truck races, including a full season from 2008 through 2012. At Daytona, he only raced once this year for the season opener. He finished 15th in a Tricon Garage Toyota. White has raced in 55 Xfinity Series and two NASCAR Cup Series races. In 2012, he finished second in a Truck Series race at Michigan behind Nelson Piquet Jr. This was his best finish in the three series.
Both drivers are unfortunate with these legal issues. They damage their careers and confound racing fans and professionals. Legal processes will be emphasized as the sport deals with these off-track situations.
