Jack Garcia Joins ThorSport: ThorSport Racing recently disclosed that an 18-year-old racer from Monroe, Georgia, will embark on a full-time journey with the team in 2024, supported by sponsorship from Quanta Services. Throughout the past year, ThorSport managed four full-time Truck teams, notably for drivers Matt Crafton, Ty Majeski, Hailie Deegan, and the 2023 series champion, Ben Rhodes. In his rookie season, Garcia, affiliated with team owner Bill McAnally, participated in 22 out of 23 races. His absence in the series opener at Daytona was due to not yet reaching the age of 18.
During these 22 races, Garcia achieved three top-five finishes and secured nine top-10 finishes. His most notable performance came in the season finale at Phoenix, where he clinched second place.

Garcia’s journey in racing commenced in quarter midgets at the tender age of five. His progression led him through various racing series such as Allison Legacy, USAC Eastern Midget Series, Pro Late Model, and Super Late Model Series.
His accolades include winning the 2021 Southern Super Series Championship, where he became the youngest driver to attain this honor. He also claimed the Five Flags Speedway Super Late Model track championship in 2021, received the 2020 Southern Super Series Rookie of the Year title, and triumphed as the 2019 Five Flags Super Pro Late Model track champion.
Beyond his Truck Series involvement, Garcia has ventured into the ARCA West Series with one start and participated in eight races in the CARS Pro Late Model Tour, achieving a best finish of second. Additionally, he was the runner-up in the 2019 Snowball Derby.
