For the upcoming Jack Links 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suarez is opting for a new Wendy’s inspired livery in a spirited attempt to shake things up. The No.99 driver’s wife, Julia Piquet, took to social media, charmingly claiming this new paint scheme as her hypothetical choice if ever reincarnated. The race, comprised of 188 energy-filled laps, will see Suarez sport the vibrant red and white hues synonymous with the fast-food chain.
In addition to the colors, Suarez’s Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 prominently carries the logo of Wendy’s Frosty Swirls. As a recent addition to the fast-food giant’s menu, the Frosty Swirls combine Vanilla or Chocolate Frosty base with one of three sinful sauces, mirroring the race car’s dynamic palette. Piquet’s Instagram story of the car’s unique paint job, garners attention by alluding to both the race and the enticing dessert.
Earlier in the week, Daniel Suarez’s team introspective about the paint scheme shared their sentiments on Instagram stating:
Going into Sunday’s race, Suarez secured the 24th position. Despite his yet unrewarded efforts for a top-five place at the 2.66-mile track in Talladega, his drive remains unperturbed, previously landing an eighth place finish in 2022.
While Suarez has been consistently showing his mettle on various tracks, his upcoming debut on home ground, Autodromo Hermanez Rodriguez circuit in Mexico, is a point of pride. Being the only Mexican driver in the NASCAR Cup Series, the anticipation is bubbling in him and his wife, as showcased in Piquet’s recent Instagram posts.

The two had met through mutual friends and Suarez had proposed during a much-awaited trip to Europe.
