Natalie Decker returns to NASCAR racing at Daytona, joins Josh Bilicki in Wawa’s 2024 DGM Racing lineup

Natalie Decker returns to NASCAR racing at Daytona International Speedway on August 22, marking her first NASCAR Xfinity Series appearance since giving birth earlier this year. She joins fellow driver Josh Bilicki as DGM Racing partners with Wawa and Coca-Cola for the Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola, bringing excitement and renewed energy to the competition.

Wawa and Coca-Cola Continue Their Partnership With DGM Racing

For the second year running, Wawa and Coca-Cola have joined forces with DGM Racing to sponsor two Chevrolet Camaros in the Wawa 250 at Daytona. The No. 91 Wawa x Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Chevrolet will be driven by Josh Bilicki, while Natalie Decker takes the wheel of the No. 92 Wawa x Sprite Chevrolet, marking her much-anticipated return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Decker’s appearance comes just months after she became a mom, reflecting a significant personal milestone alongside her professional comeback.

Wawa and Coca-Cola, as the title sponsors of the NXS race, are leveraging their partnership with DGM Racing to engage more closely with race fans, both on and off the track. Their commitment extends beyond car branding, as Bilicki and Decker will participate in several fan events throughout the race weekend, enhancing the experience for attendees at Daytona International Speedway.

Family Values At The Heart Of This Year’s Lineup

This season’s partnership brings a family-oriented approach to the forefront. Wawa and Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, both family-owned enterprises, have aligned with DGM Racing—a team also rooted in family values from Lake Wales, Florida. Notably, both Josh Bilicki and Natalie Decker welcomed their first children earlier this year, with their sons born just two weeks apart. This shared life event has added a deeper dimension to both drivers’ return to the track, underscoring the close-knit nature of the DGM Racing team.

Bilicki, who will drive the Wawa x Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Chevrolet, shared his enthusiasm for competing at Daytona and representing these family-driven brands during one of the year’s most anticipated races.

“Daytona is always one of our biggest races of the year, and to carry the Wawa and Coca-Cola colors in the Wawa 250 powered by Coca-Cola makes it even more special. I’m excited to fight for a great finish, represent both brands on track, and connect with the incredible fans throughout race week.”

Milestones and Achievements Highlight DGM Racing’s Progress

DGM Racing‘s track record at Daytona in recent years has been noteworthy. When Natalie Decker first joined the team, she became the first woman since Danica Patrick in 2013 to lead laps in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Daytona, and she also helped the team earn its first Top-20 finish of the season. In the previous Wawa 250 event, Kyle Weatherman drove the Wawa x Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Chevrolet to a Top-10 finish, further cementing the team’s growing reputation at the event.

Natalie Decker’s Return Marks A Full-Circle Moment

For Decker, returning to racing at Daytona just six months after giving birth is both a personal and professional achievement.

“Coming back just six months after becoming a mom is something I’m really proud of, and couldn’t do without the support of my family, husband Derek, DGM Racing, Wawa, and Coca-Cola Beverages Florida,”

“Racing has always been part of who I am, and now I get to show my son what it means to chase your dreams no matter what stage of life you’re in. Since I was a little girl growing up at the race track, I always knew I wanted to raise my family there, too. This is a full-circle moment for me, and I can’t wait to be behind the wheel of the No. 92 Wawa and Sprite DGM Racing Chevrolet.”
