Kyle Larson aims to extend his Bristol win streak at the upcoming Bass Pro Shops Night Race on Saturday evening, seeking to achieve a third consecutive triumph at Bristol Motor Speedway. As the Playoff driver prepares for one of NASCAR’s most celebrated tracks, he is on the verge of making history and strengthening his position in the championship chase.
Larson’s Recent Dominance at Bristol Motor Speedway
Over the last two races at Bristol in Tennessee, Larson has established himself as the driver to beat on the high banks. Piloting the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, he dominated the previous Playoff race by leading 462 out of 500 laps, and earlier in the year, he set the pace for 411 laps, which amounts to approximately 87 percent of laps run in those events. With a total of 1,762 laps led at Bristol, this track stands out as Larson’s most commanding venue throughout his NASCAR Cup Series career.
Chasing a Historic Third Consecutive Win
A victory in Saturday night’s event would elevate Larson into an elite group, as only four other drivers in series history have managed to win three straight races at the challenging Bristol layout. The achievement would mark a significant chapter in NASCAR lore, particularly due to the demanding nature of the circuit and its reputation for fierce competition.

Larson’s Motivation Ahead of the Night Race
As one of the top contenders remaining in the Playoffs, and currently holding third place in the standings, Larson acknowledges the atmosphere and unique appeal of the Bristol night race.
“The atmosphere is always up for the (Bristol) Night Race,”
said Larson, who continues to seek his first Playoff win this season and carries high hopes into the championship elimination race.
With the iconic half-mile stadium setting, the significance of Saturday night’s race is not lost on him.
“The night race just means more to me, I don’t know if everyone feels the same way but I want to win all the races but I would like to win the night race over the spring one if I had to pick one or the other just because winning under the lights at Bristol is pretty awesome,”
Larson continued.
“It’s not considered a crown jewel but in my mind it’s the one I want to win really badly every year.”
—Kyle Larson, Playoff Driver
What’s at Stake in the Bass Pro Shops Night Race
Larson’s upcoming attempt for a third straight win arrives as the Playoff field faces its first elimination, adding extra pressure and anticipation to the night. Other notable drivers, including Ben Rhodes, Layne Riggs, and Tanner Gray, are also pursuing their own goals at Bristol, making the event a significant moment in this year’s championship run. The race will be broadcast at 7:30 p.m. ET on USA Network, with radio coverage on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
If Larson secures a third consecutive victory, the accomplishment could further cement his legacy and intensify the competitive landscape heading into the remainder of the Playoffs. Fans and competitors alike await to see if Bristol will once again become the site of another defining Kyle Larson Bristol win streak and a potential chapter in NASCAR’s storied history.
