Carson Hocevar’s Performance and Outlook for Upcoming Races
Heading into the final stretch of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series, Carson Hocevar, the reigning NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year, currently sits 21st in the championship standings. Notably, he has already secured two top-five finishes and eight top-ten results this season, underscoring his growth as a formidable competitor in American stock car racing. With 75 Cup Series starts under his belt, Hocevar continues to demonstrate versatility, including runner-up finishes at both Atlanta Motor Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway.

Hocevar is looking to surpass his previous best result of 15th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, improving on an average finish of 26.0 at the track, which is located just north of the famous Las Vegas Strip. The young Portage, Michigan native is particularly enthusiastic about the upcoming Las Vegas and Phoenix races due to his competitive history and the fresh partnership on board.
Classic Collision’s Introduction Energizes Team and Driver
The alliance with Classic Collision brings additional excitement to Hocevar and the No. 77 team as they approach two pivotal oval races. Hocevar, a four-time NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series winner, has clocked in four previous starts at Phoenix Raceway, most notably finishing 15th in March 2024. He has a steady track record at Phoenix with three top-20 finishes, making these venues meaningful in his ongoing career development.
“I’m really eager to have Classic Collision come on board for Las Vegas and Phoenix,”
Carson Hocevar said.
“They are all about having fun and going big and there are no better places to celebrate than Vegas and at the last race of the season. We’ve worked hard to improve our speedway program and have been really strong on the mile-and-a-half tracks. Phoenix has always been a favorite of mine and that’s where I clinched Rookie of the Year last season, so I’m really looking forward to welcoming a new partner and having them on board at a couple tracks where we expect to run up front.”
